I'm one of the founders of Traife Buffet, a small press specializing in high-end limited edition books and subcontracting design and production of books, slip cases and presentation boxes for individuals and small presses. In addition to my glamorous life in publishing I have been around the convention "scene" for about 25 years, mostly on one of the U.S. coasts.
I am a fiend for the road, preferably in an ancient car or on a vintage motorcycle, am a former car show judge and am used as a willing "subject matter expert" on the topic by various authors. Like many of you here, I believe if mankind is to survive, we must make things better here, and must also expand beyond this one lone sphere.
