Halle Stanford


Halle Stanford joined The Jim Henson Company in 1995 and since 2004 she has served as the Head of Children’s Television, leading the company's development and production of all preschool and children's programming for both television and direct-to-video projects in animated and live-action formats.  At present, Ms. Stanford is working on Skrumps, a CG animated project she acquired for the company that is currently appearing exclusively at www.yahookids.com.  Her previous Henson projects have included Animal Jam and Telling Stories with Tomie dePaola, which she executive produced, Donna’s Day which she co-produced, and the successful franchises Farscape, Bear in the Big Blue House (the rights to which are currently owned by The Walt Disney Company), Brats of the Lost Nebula, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss!, as well as Muppet Classic Theater, Muppets Tonight!, and Muppet Treasure Island.  Apart from her work at Henson, Ms. Stanford is the founder of 7 Crows Stories, a children’s creative company responsible for consulting on such upcoming projects as Krypto and Baby Looney Toons, two animated preschool series for Warner Brothers Animation Studios, as well as executive producing the Pat the Bunny DVD series for Classic Media.  Ms. Stanford holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film and Theater from Wesleyan University and lives in Los Angeles with her son Max.
