Michael McMillan

Michael McMillan was born in Tokyo, emigrating to the United States in 1950.

A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, the Air Force Nuclear Weapons School, and Vietnam, he pursues his pastime of growing petunias in the strip of dirt between the sidewalk and the street.  Another hobby is working on the Ehrenfest Paradox, the last unsolved paradox of Special Relativity.

He is the author of three unpublished blockbuster novels, and is currently working on his fourth.

He is a big (190 lbs) SF fan, and has read forty-two Hugo winning novels, but didn't read GoH David Brin's "Uplift War" because it was too thick, and he thinks this nonsense about dolphins not being fish is taking political correctness too far.

He has personally met Joe Namath, Hulk Hogan, former Illinois Governor Otto Kerner, and has Neil Gaiman's autograph.

Michael is an advocate of nuclear power in all its forms, and an avid supporter of global warming.  And in his spare moments, he does the Nippon 2007 web site.

He does rumor control on the LiveJournal Nippon 2007 Community, under a secret code name.

An international airline pilot, he had just landed in London when the 9/11 attack happened, and he takes terrorist activity personally.
